about
about me
I am a New York Medical College, Lenox Hill Hospital, and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai trained psychiatrist. I see kids, teens, and adults for therapy and also prescribe medications. I am skilled at treating a wide range of conditions including mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, personality and trauma related disorders, as well as psychosis.
My special interests include eating disorder, difficulties around transitions, and college mental health. In addition to English, I am fluent in Russian and have full understanding of Polish and intermediate proficiency in Spanish.
While I primarily see patients at my private practice, I also hold a faculty appointment at NYU Langone Tisch Hospital, and have previously worked at NYU Langone Brooklyn and Lenox Hill Hospital.
Over the years, I have practiced in a range of settings, including hospitals as a consultant to medical and surgical teams, inpatient psychiatric units, a Veterans Affairs hospital, outpatient programs, an intensive eating disorder day treatment program at Mount Sinai, and the New School’s college mental health center.
In addition to formal residency and fellowship psychotherapy training, I completed a number of cognitive behavioral psychotherapy courses at the Beck Institute, as well as a two-year Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program at Columbia University.
